The External Trade (Prohibition of Importation of Certain Batteries

(Amendment)(No. 2) Order, 2004.

 

(Undersection 8ofthe External TradeAct, Cap.88).

 

INEXERCISEof the powers conferred upon the Ministerresponsiblefortrade,by section 8 of the External TradeAct, this Order is made this 29th day of June, 2004.

 

1.   Citation.

ThisOrdermaybecitedastheExternalTrade(ProhibitionofImportationof

Certain Batteries (Amendment)(No. 2) Order, 2004.

2. Amendment of section 4.

(1)TheExternalTrade(ProhibitionofImportationofCertainBatteriesOrder,

2004 is amended in section 4—..

(a)by substituting for paragraph(b)the following paragraph—

 

(b)  M/S  BULAMU  BWE  BUGGAGA  GENERAL  ENTERPRISES LIMITED P.O. Box 4834 Kampala 20 containers;.”;

 

(b)by substituting for paragraph(c)the following paragraph—

(c)M/SCAPEVANINTERNATIONALLIMITEDP.O.Box2134

Kampala 39 containers;.”;

 

(c)by substituting for paragraph(e)the following paragraph—

(e)M/SNAMENGOGENERALMERCHANDISEP.O.Box2693

Kampala 4 containers;”; and

(d)by inserting immediately after paragraph (h)the following paragraph— “(i)  Kabale  Distributors  Limited  P.  O.  Box  31115  Kampala  26
