Case summary
The appellant was indicted and convicted of the offence of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. He appealed faulting the trial Judge for failing to properly evaluate evidence on record thus arriving at a wrong conclusion that the appellant had participated in the commission of the offence and also against the ground that the sentence was harsh and excessive for the trial Judge did not take into account the period the convicts spent on remand.
