Flynote:

Search Summary:

In this petition, the applicants sought for an adoption order relating to the three children, permission to travel with the children to the USA where the applicants resided and that costs of the application be provided for. The applicants stated that they were Ugandans residing in the USA, and close relatives to the minors by blood, whose parents had all died living them as orphans under the care of their struggling old grandfather.

It was further stated that the applicants had been taking care of the children financially ever since the death of their parents, and that they had been well recommended by all the relevant agencies in the USA that dealt with matters of adoption.

The applicants further submitted that it was in the best interest of the children for the court to grant the applicants the orders sought.
